No single business sign surface area <br />shall exceed three hundred square feet in area, nor ~hall txvo or more smaller signs <br />be ~o arranged and intcgraled as to create a surf:me area in excess of three hundred <br />square feet. In the case of corner lots, the least width of such a corner lot shall be <br />the front, for purposes of this chapter, <br /> <br /> (2) Advertising signs shall be permitted, as regulated in the B-3 General <br />Business District. <br /> <br /> (bt The height and illumination sign provisions of the M-1 Light Industrial Dis- <br />trict shall apply in the M-2 General Industrial Districts. <br /> <br />Article. Continuation. <br /> <br /> The lawful use of buildings or land existing at the effective date of this chapter5 <br />which does not conform to the provisions of this chapter shall be discontinued within <br />a reasonable period of amortization of the bditding. Uses of land which become non- <br />conforming by reason of a subsequent change in this chapter shall also be discontinued <br />within a rcasonable period of amortization of the building. Alterations. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> The lawful use of a building existing at the time of the adoption of this chapter6 <br />may be continued, although such use does not conform with thc provisions hereof. If <br />no structural alterations are.made, a noncorfforming use o£ a buihling may be changed <br />to another nonconIorming use of the same or more restricted classification.
