Continuation. <br /> <br /> The lawful use of buildings or land existing at the effective date of this chapter5 <br />which does not conform to the provisions of this chapter shall be discontinued within <br />a reasonable period of amortization of the bditding. Uses of land which become non- <br />conforming by reason of a subsequent change in this chapter shall also be discontinued <br />within a rcasonable period of amortization of the building. Alterations. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> The lawful use of a building existing at the time of the adoption of this chapter6 <br />may be continued, although such use does not conform with thc provisions hereof. If <br />no structural alterations are.made, a noncorfforming use o£ a buihling may be changed <br />to another nonconIorming use of the same or more restricted classification.
