CASE # <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND REQUEST FOR VACATION OF EASEMENT <br /> IN RAMSEV TOWN CENTER ADDITION; <br /> CASE OF RAMSEY TOWN CENTER LLC <br /> By: Patrick Trudgeon, AICP, <br /> Assistant Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As part of tonight's agenda, the City Council is reviewing the proposed preliminary plat of <br />Rmnsey Town Center 3rd Addition. As part of the development associated with Ramsey Town <br />Center 3rd Addition, the drainage and utility easements on Outlot I will need to be vacated. They <br />will be replaced with new drainage and utility easements as part of the new plat. The following <br />items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Exhibit of underlying easements to be vacated <br />Proposed Ordinance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />In accordance with State Statute, City Staff attempted to notify property owners within 350 feet <br />of the subject property of the public hearing to vacate easements. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />After the public hearing, the City Council should introduce the ordinance to vacate the drainage <br />and utility easements over Outlot I, Ramsey Town Center Addition. Staff will bring the <br />ordinance back for final adoption when the final plat for Ramsey Town Center 3rd Addition is to <br />be considered by the City Council. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends introduction of the ordinance to vacate drainage and utility easements on <br />Outlot I of the Ramsey Town Center Addition. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance #04-07-__ to vacate the drainage and utility easements <br />contained on Outlot I, Ramsey Town Center Addition. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Asst.
