BOARD OF ADJU$1TIENT <br /> CITY OF RANSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF HINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing on Thursday, November <br />20, 1986 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Hinnesota regarding Mr. Clarence Jensen*s request for a variance from side yard <br />setback requirements. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Cerald Zi~menaau, Chairman <br />Hr. Ben Deemer <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Hr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Ken Peterson <br /> <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />Chairman Ziumerman called the public hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN II/PUT <br /> <br />Mr. Clarence Jensen vas present representing Northern Oxygen requesting a <br />variance from the side yard setback in order to construct a 50' x 100' addition <br />to the south side of the existing buildin§ at 6650 llvy. ~10 N.~. Mr. Jensen <br />requested a five foot encroachment on the required side yard, leaving a 15 foot <br />vide side yard setback rather than a 20' vide setback. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shumway inquired why the addition is proposed to be offset <br />somewhat from the existing building. <br /> <br />Mr. Jensen replied that the addition is offset to allow continued use of the <br />overhead door on the existing building. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zinunerman, Commissioners Peterson, <br /> Shumway, Deemer, ltendriksen and LaDue. Voting No: None.
