Mr. Raatikka suggested that 153rd be extended to Jarvis and having 153rd <br />to Jarvis and Jarvis to Hwy. 10 designated MSA. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seoonded by Councilmember Reimann to direct the <br />City Engineer to request that the City of Elk River designate Jarvis Street [~ <br />from 159th Avenue 1~ to T.B. ~10 as an FBAS, thereby allowing the City of <br />Remsey to designate the 153rd Avenue I~ extension as an MSAS. ~he City <br />Engineer is also directed to oontact Mn/DOT and request preliminary approval. <br /> <br />Motion carried. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution )86-38). <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Hartley stated that Federal legislation has been <br />introduced that limits tax increnent financing; the effective date of that law <br />could change and leave Ramsey with a window period of time to seek financing; <br />in that event, it would be to Ramsey's advantage to have the feasibility report <br />oompleted. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
