CASE #5: <br /> <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING JOINT PARK COMMISSION/PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION MEETING ON AUGUST 26, 1986 <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission has scheduled a meeting with the Park <br />Commission for Tuesday, August 26, 1986 at 7:30 P.M. in the lower <br />level of City Hall. The Planning Commission scheduled the <br />meeting to discuss common concerns with the Park Commission. The <br />Planning Commission has recommended that the following items be <br />discussed: <br /> <br />1) Role of the Park Commission <br />2) Park dedication requirements <br />3) County Park proposal along the Mississippi River <br />4) Neighborhood parks versus central parks system <br />5) Multiple use trails system <br /> <br />The Park Commission may add additional items to the agenda for <br />the special meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
