ORDINANCE '83-13 CITY OF RANSKY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF NINNKSOTA AHENDNKNT TO CHAPTER 170. known as the Planning, Subdivision and Signs Chapter of Chapter 170. of the City Code. AN ORDINANCE ADDINC CHAPTER 170.06 to the City Code and repealing Section 170.038F of the City Code. The City Council of the City of Ramney hereby ordains: SECTION 1- AMKBDHKFF. A Chapter 170.06 is hereby added to the City Code, which Chapter shall be as follows: 170.06 Park and Open Space Dedication Fee 170-061 PURPOSE The purposes of this section are to provide funds which the City shall dedicate and use only for the acquisition of parks, playgrounds, and/or open space, as well as provide a means for the City to acquire a reasonable portion of each new subdivision for public use as parks, playgrounds and/or open space. 170.062 RESIDENTIAL BUILDING PERHIT PARK FEE At the time of issuance of a building permit for a residential dwelling unit, either single family, multi-family or apartment building, the Building Official shall collect a park fee equal to two and one-half tenths of one Per cent (.0025) of the building valuation. This park fee shall be collected from the building permit applicant as a condition of the issuance of the building permit. 170.063 CONNERCYALfIBDUSTRIAL BUILDING PERMIT PARK FEE At the time of issuance of a building permit for a commercial or industrial building, the Building Official shall collect a park fee equal to one tenth of one percent (.0010) of the building valuation. This park fee shall be collected from the building permit applicant as a condition of the issuance of the building permit. 170.064 ALTERNATE DEDICATION OF PARKS AND OPEN SPACES Notwithstanding Sections 170.062 and 170.063 above, the City Council, in its discretion may elect in all new subdivisions to require eight
