PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA OOUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNES(Y/t~ <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, January 8, <br />1985 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Me~nbers Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Heitman <br />Councilmenber Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Arnie COx <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Gary Reimann called the regular Council meeting to order at 7:32 <br />p.m. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />SWEARING~_IN _CEREMONY <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich proceeded to swear-in Mayor Gary Heitman and <br />Councilmembers A1 Sorteberg and Arnie COx. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman thanked the citizens of Ramsey for the opportunity to serve as <br />Mayor of Ramsey and stated that he will do his best to listen to comments and <br />questions and will endeavor to carry out the majority will of the Ramsey <br />citizenry. <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ARPROUAL OF_AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman stated that esksblishing a public hearing date regarding Waste <br />Management's request for a temporary conditional use permit should be added to <br />the agenda. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that Waste Management has requested that City Council not <br />set a public hearing date until such time as Waste Management approaches <br />Council requesting that the public hearing date be set. <br /> <br />January8, 1985 <br />Page 3 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
