Mr. Schnelle stated that Staff review of
the document will be completed by January 22, 1985.

Council oonsensus is that formation of an ad hoc landfill committee will be
included in the January 22 Council agenda.

Doug Fountain - Stated better publicity is needed in order to form committees;
he was not aware of an attempt to form a landfill committee 3 years ago until
May of 1984.

Council recessed at 8:55 p.m.

Mayor Heitman called the meeting back to order at 9:15 p.m.

Motion by CouncilOr COx and seconded by Councilmember Reimann requesting
that any citizens ooncerned with the landfill issue and interested in serving
on the ad hoc committe contact City Hall at 427-1410; further that the
formation of this committee be advertised in the Anoka County Union and the
Shopper; further that reporter Angela Flint make note of this ad hoc committee
Januarv S, 1985
Page 1~ of 17
