(Please refer <br />to resolution file for Resolution ~85-65). <br /> <br />Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Oouncilm~mbers 8orteberg, Reimann and Schlueter. <br />Voting No: Councilmember COx. <br /> <br />~YOR/fY~1NCTL INI~IT <br /> <br />a) Discussion of City Cemetaries - <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that he would like to discuss an item placed under <br />Mayor/Council Input from the February 12, 1985 Council minutes, City <br />Cemetaries. Councilmember COx stated that his reason for bringing this <br />subject up for discussion is that the son-in-law of the owner of Harold's <br />Hardware recently died and the family could not find a burial plot in Ramsey <br />or Anoka. ~e family was not aware of the cemetary on B%~y. 47 and the <br />inactive oemetary close to Gateway Airport; a concerned family member would <br />like to see a oommittee organized, and is willing to serve on such a <br />committee, to research the cemetary situation in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to place Discussion of City Cemetaries on the next <br />regular Oouncil agenda. <br /> <br />b) Ramsey's Proposal Regarding Landfill Legislation - <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle noted that Council has also received copies of Ramseys bill <br />proposal regarding landfill legislation, particularly with respect to hosting <br />cities. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seoondedby Councilmember Reimann authorizing <br />that City Staff's proposal regarding landfill legislation be forwarded to <br />appropriate agencies. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Votin9 No: None. <br /> <br />c) Placement Of Mayor/Council Input On Next Council Agenda - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmemt~r Reimann to place <br />Mayor/council Input as the first item of business on the next Council agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
