Eoonc~ic and Finance Subcommittee CASE {2: ECONOMIC DEVELO~T BROCHURE ~e City Council reviewed the brochure as drafted by the Brochure Subcommittee (see Enclosure D2-a) at its meeting February 27, 1985. ~e Council approved the brochure and authorized the Economic DeveloI~ent Commis- sion to advertise for bids for the printing of the brochure. Also included is a letter from Tom Kurak ex- pressing interest in serving on the Commission. Also, T~m Gamec is interested in serving on the EDC. CASE ~4: DISf/]SSION REGARDING GATE~I~Y AIRPORT AS..~EFERRED BY T~IE ~IRPORT OOMMISSlON At its February 20, 1985 meeting, the Ramsey Airport Commission referred the followin9 question to the Economic Development (Dmmission. 'Based upon studies and information gained thus far, the Airport Commission's position is that airport develol~uent is dependent upon Ramsey's commitment to balanced industrial and commercial develol~uent in the City.
