Motion by Council~mber Cox and seconded by Counciln~mi. er Reimann to adopt Resolution 185-82 establishing a policy for impl~enting the rural residential density standard set forth in the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan. Further, that the follc~ing adjustments be made to the proposed resolution: (Please ~efer to resolution file for Resolution t85-82). Item 2, Page 2, 2nd Sentence - Should read as foll~s: 'As each plat is recorded with the County recorder, that plat will be deducted from average acreage available for develo~ent in the Rural Area and this number shall beoo~e the new nunber for gross acres subject to develol~ent in the Rural Area and shall serve as the basis for interpretation of the density requirement. Item 1.a, Page 1, 1st Sentence - Should read as fo]]c~s: 'All planned unit developments and/or developments over 40 acres shall be developed ' Motion carried. Voting No: None. _MAYOR/~IL INFJf Councilmenber Cox stated that plywood has been donated for backstops at Titterud Park and the Streets Department is too busy to construct the backstops; Carol Sather has indicated that she has a volunteer crew ready to oonstruct the backstops if the Streets Depar~nent oould deliver the materials and supervise the construction. Mr. Schnelle stated that he would have Streets Superintendent Mevisson oontact Mrs. Carol Sather regarding the backstops at Titterud Park. I I CouncilF~mber COx stated that there is a vacant hc~e on Peridot Street, directly west of the Tom Th~nb, to which a oonsiderable amount of vana~li~ has been done and the neighborhood residents are concerned for the safety of their children. The citizens would like to see the City take action to have the house boarded up. Mr. Darryl FUlts was present and stated that after the b0me went into bankruptcy proceedings, boarding up the house was offered to the cwner and he refused.
