Further Discussion: Councilm~ber Sch]ueter noted that this case is proposing to transfer $50,000 from the Landfill Trust Fund to the Park Fund for bleachers and lighting at Central Park. Mr. DeLuca stated that as ode menber of the Landfill Committee, he does not object to the City use of landfill money for p~rk clevelot~,ent but a limit should be placed on the amount that c~n be s~ent in order for that principal amount to maintain growth. Councilm~ber Schlueter inquired as to Council's last decision made regarding bleachers at Central Park as this motion would also delay action regarding bleachers. Mr. Schnelle replied that Council did adopt a Long Term Financial Plan and 1985 Operational Budget which propose to transfer money from the LandfLl] Trust Fund to Parks for bleachers and lighting. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor ReiPann, Councilm~7~ers Sorteberg, Cox and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Mr. Donovan noted that the Council agenda quotes a figure of $1,700 for bleachers and that he doesn't know where that figure came from because 4 bleachers were proposed at a cost of approximately $1,200 each. Council unanimously oonsented to dispense with the reading of the resolution. Motion bi Councilm~mber Cox and seooncled b~ Councilm~nber Schlueter to adopt Resolution ~85-83 ai:groving the transfer of funds from the Landf~ll Trust Fund to the Park Fund for the purchase of two sets of bleachers as authorized b/ the 1985 City Operational Budget in Resolution ~84-256 and by the Long Term Financial Plan in Resolution ~84-257. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution ~85-83). Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting B'myor Reimann, Councilmambers Sorteberg, Cox and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Beih~an. Request For Tempo_raw Beer License; Case of Anoka County_ Pheasants Forever Chapter: Motion by Councilm~mber Cox and seoonded bi Councilmamber Sorteberg to approve granting the Anoka County Pheasants Fore~er Chapter a t~mporary beer lioense from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 5, 1985 at the St. Anthony Gun Club, Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Reimann, Councilma~bers Sorteberg, Oox and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Iteitman.
