Environmental Standards <br /> <br />1. Seek to conform state laws and regulations designed to <br /> protect the human enviroru~ent to federal standards. <br /> <br />V. Mplo)~ent Compensation <br /> <br />Solvency of the unemployment compensation system should be <br />a top priority so as to reduce the federal tax which is <br />not experience rated and return to the state tax which is <br />experience rated. <br /> <br />2. The current unemployment co=hoensation benefit levels should <br /> frozen until the system is solvent. <br /> <br />3. Oppose any unemployment compensation tax hikes without <br /> fundamental changes in access to benefits. <br /> <br />4. UnempIo)~ent compensation taxes should be more experience <br /> rated. <br /> <br />The accessibility test for access to the unemployment compen- <br />sation system should be strengthened. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Permanent part-time workers should not be allowed access to <br />unemployment compensation benefits. <br /> <br />Work search requirements should be tightened with possibility <br />of work search verification certificates initiated. <br /> <br /> <br />
