Subsection 2.4. Parcels in Acquisition. The City may acquire and reconvey the parcels identified in Section I, Subsection 1.12 of the Development Program as originally adopted on July 9, 1985. As the City acquires said parcels, the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 1 will be modified to reflect the acquisitions of said parcels. The following are conditions under which properties not designated to be acquired may be acquired at a future date: (1) The City may acquire property by gift, dedication, condemnation or direct purchase from willing sell- ers in order to achieve the objectives of the tax increment financing plan; and (2) Such acquisitions will be undertaken only when there is assurance of funding to finance the acqui- sition and related costs.
