Building for Tomorrow _ <br /> <br /> The City of Ramsey is located 20 miles nort~t of the <br /> Minneapofls-St. Paul area. Ramsey's current population is <br /> 10,860, and is projected to reach over 17,500 within 15 years. <br /> Ramsey is adjacent to the City o~ Anoka, which .IS the county <br /> <br /> The Oily of Ramsey is on the move and we want you and <br /> your business to .grow with us. The primar~ reason our <br /> population has grown from 2,360 in 1970 to over 10,860 today, <br /> is due to the rural setting of Ramsey. Our City has planned for <br /> the future, with it~ zoning o.f ..large residential lots, an expanded <br /> community park system, large indUstrial parks, and many other <br /> amenities to preserve our. rural setting and our quality of life. <br /> Our city planners realize the importance of providing an <br />· economic environment which is conducive to the operation of a <br /> profitable business; and the need to provide opportunities for <br /> our citizens. <br /> Our City Council, our Economic Development Commission, <br /> arid our Local Development Corporation are encouraging the <br /> development and expansion of commerce and industry within <br /> our City.
