Voting Yes: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No~ None. Abstain~ Mayor Reitman. 5. Motion by councilmember Cox and seconded by Mayor Heitman to approve informational City Council meeting minutes dated April 30, 1985 regarding tax increment fisancing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, councilm~bers Sorteberg, COx, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. 6. Motion by councilmember Oox and seoonded by Mayor Heitman to approve special City council meeting minutes dated May 7, 1985. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. 7. Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Mayor Heitman to approve special City council meeting minutes dated May 14, 1985 with the following corrections and clarifications: 1. Correction - Page 6 - Paragraph 6 - Change to read as follows: 'Mr. Walton (Bud) Sauter and Mr. Thomas Sauter were present.' e Correction - Page 8 - Paragraph 7 - First Line - Change to read as follows: 'Further Discussion: Mr. Thomas Sauter referred to It~n ~2 in the ~xoposed'. Correction - Page 14 - Paragraph 12 - Add the following sentence: 'Gouncilmember COx also indicated that he didn't know the f~arter Commission was conducting a meeting because it didn' t appear the O0~mission had enough members present for a quor~.' 5 Mayor Heitman referred to Page 17 - 1st Paragraph - Last Sentenoe - and stated that the phrase 'at this time' should be inserted after phrase 'overly enthusiastic on protesting'. Oouncilm~r COx stated that he doesn't recall Mayor Hei~an's recorded comments on Page 17 as being any different than what is recorded. Mayor Beitman referred to Page 17 - 1st Paragraph - T_~st Sentence - and stated that the phrase 'if this offer is made to the police department, it would have to be accepted in order for him to be satisifed;' should have read as followsw: 'if this offer is made to the police department a~d it is accepted, he would be satisfied that that the City negotiated in good faith;' Mayor Beitman referred to Page 17 - 1st Paragraph - ;~st sentence - and stated that the phrase 'if it goes to arbitration, council bas lost the opportunity to register a complaint.' should have read ~s May 28, 1985 Page 8 of 31
