Voting Nos None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Awarding_ Of Bids On Pro4ects %85-15 And %84-1: <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated that the City has been approached by the County <br />regarding flooding problems in Flintwood I. <br /> <br />City Atto£ney Goodrich stated that County Ditch %43 was vacated by the County <br /> <br /> in 1980. When the (bunty agreed to vacate the ditch, ~ agreed to maintain <br />m a through property so there an outlet for <br /> link <br /> Hills <br /> II <br /> that <br /> would <br /> the water which had been coming through the County ditch. City Attorney <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Goodrich stated that the County pipe was a 12" non-working pipe; this storm <br />sewer project is for a 36" pipe. City Attorney Goodrich stated that fz~m a <br />legal standpoint Ramsey is obligated to maintain that link but he is not sure <br />how it should be handled. Ramsey is not obligated to provide any more or any <br />less than what was provided with the ditch. <br /> <br />Gouncil unanimously consented to dispense with the readin9 of the resolution. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed, with Council, a letter dated May 31, 1985 from <br />Deloitte, Haskins and Sells regarding a financial evaluation of Mr. Norm Holm <br />and Mrs. Elizabeth Raudio; findings of that letter are that there is no ~-~ to <br />request other than minimm escrow requirements of Mr. ~olm and Mrs. Raudio. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed the proposed development agreement and noted <br /> <br /> some amendments made to the agreenent after it's inclusion in Gouncil agenda. <br />I Motion by Mayor Heitman and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt <br /> Resolution #.85-101 awarding Projects %84-1 and %85-15 for Flintwood Hills <br />m,?~:,<x)r~c] Addition to Arcon Construction (~ in the amount of $417,573.05, an <br />amount which includes pipe oversizing; contingent upon the developer entering <br />into the develolm~nt agreement as amended by City Attorney. (Please refer to <br />m resolution file for Resolution %85-101). <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Beitman, Gouncilme~rs Sorteberg, Gox, <br /> Re/mann and Schlueter. Orderina 1985 Sealcoating Projects And Preparation Of Plan Ar~ <br /> _Specikications: <br /> <br />m <br />! <br /> <br />a) Receipt Of ~etition Opposing Sealcoatin9 Improvenent Projects %85-6 and <br /> %85-12 - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~nber Sorteberg and seconded by Mayor Beitman to receive the <br />petition objecting to Sealooating Improvement Project %85-6 for 161st Avenue <br />and Llama Street N~ and to direct City Staff to place said petition on file. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
