Candidates for the Anok, a,,~qunty, Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors GREG BERGERON BRUCE FRANK Ireg was raised on a small farm on 31st Avenue and Hanson Boulevard in Coon Rapids. le graduated from Anoka High School in 1955. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota in 9Gl and his M.A. degree from the niversity in 1966. Ireg was a hlgh school teacher in noka-Hennepin District 11 from 1959 to 1979. He was a radio Inouncer for KANO-KTWN from 1961 1979, He presently operates his own advertising agency in ~l~oka and has been since 1976. reg has been married for 28 years is a lifelong resident of n Rapids. He belongs to the Anoka Kiwanis Club, :served on the Anoka County Chamber .rd of Directors for l½ years, he represented the Coon Rapids Chamber o the Merger Study Committee which d to tl~e Anoka County Chamber rmat.ion, and is a member of Zion i theran Church in Anoka. Bruce Frank began his business career in Coon Rapids in June 1963 with the opening of Consumers Loan $ Discount Company office in the Coon Rapids Shopping Center. In September, 1981, due to the sale of Consumer Loan, Frank began a three year stint as credit manager at Mercy Medical Center. After working for KANO Radio since I979 as sports broadcaster, he became General Manager of AM 1470 in 1984. A graduate of'the University of Minnesota, Bruce has served as an officer and director of a variety of organizations. At the present time, he serves as co-president of the North Anoka County Chapter of the American Heart Association and as President of the Coon Rapids Community Scholarship Association, and Co-chairman of Anoka Halloween Committee. Previously he served as President and Director of the Coon Rapids Chamber of Commerce, Coon Rapids Rotary Club, and Coon Rapids Snowflake AS ~ ' soc~atJon. A sports enthusiast, Bruce, for several years was a coach and director of the Coon Rapids Athletic Association.
