The topic was <br />governmental assisted financing programs <br />for businesspersons, presented by Diane <br />Sealer of Business Development Services <br />of Coon Rapids. <br /> <br />This meeting concluded a successful <br />season of presentations. Topics presented <br />and discussed during the year w~re: <br />-Property taxes, how to challenge <br /> valuations <br />-Tips on buying business insurance <br />-Highlights of changes enacted to <br /> the Internal Revenue code in 1984 <br />-Hicro computers, novelty or necessity <br />-Tax and economic benefits of Employee <br /> Stock O~nership Trusts <br />°How to have your cake and eat it too <br /> when transferring your business equity <br />-Governmental assisted financing plans <br /> for businesspeople. <br /> <br />For those attending the Roundtable dis- <br />cussions, a wealth of information has been <br />disseminated to Chamber members.
