' s Saloon. <br /> <br />fbuncil consensus is that the minutes should represent the actual sequence of <br />events and Mr. Fountain's comments were placed appropriately. <br /> <br />Motion by Gouncilmember Gox and seconded by (buncilmember Reimann to approve <br />the special City ~ouncil meeting minutes dated July 9, 1985 with the foil{ming <br />corrections: <br /> <br />1. Page 18 - 9th paragraph - second line - change to read as foll~s: <br /> "Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None." <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Page 10 - add the following paragraph below the first paragraph: <br />"Mayor Heitman thanked Mr. Patton for his comments and inquired if <br />Mr. Patton was the prime mover of the petition against the sand races. <br />Mr. Patton replied that he was." <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />Page 21 - 8th paragraph - 4th line - change to read as follows: <br />'the license is contingent upon: 1) payment by the applicant of the <br />property" <br /> <br />4. Page 9 - 8th paragraph - 3rd line - change to read as follows: <br /> "Gilbertson tax statement." <br /> <br />Page 7 - 5th paragraph - 2nd line - change to read as follows: <br />"Council meeting; there is a question in regards to the legallity of <br />how this entire issue has been conducted." <br /> <br />Page 7 - 6th paragraph - delete and replace with the following: <br />"Councilm~mber Cox stated that he had received a phone call from <br />Mr. Berg in which Mr. Berg stated that Mr. Gilbertson was in the <br />the City Office regarding his liquor license. Councilm~nber (Dx <br />stated that he told Mr. Berg, at that time, to explain to Mr. <br />Gilbertson the proper procedure for requesting that a special meeting <br />be held." <br /> <br />Further Discussion.. Mayor Heitman stated that an important factor is that <br />there is additional information available regarding this council meeting and he <br />doesn't see any reason not to make use of that information. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Heitman and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to amend the <br />motion approvin9 the July 9 minutes by excluding that one area of the minutes <br />on page 8 regarding Councilm~mber Reimann's oomnents; to direct the City <br />Attorney to review the tapes and Council can then proceed to approve that <br />portion of the minutes according to the Attorney's interpretation of the tapes. <br /> <br />July 29, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 8 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
