Having lived in Ramsey for seven years, I have noticed an exodus of
the Ramsey business community. Dickenson's, Kovar Mfg., N & N Auto Body,
Prestress Concrete and Renner Well are some of the businesses that have left or
are leaving the community. I would also like to place my support of the City
Council to use local business wherever possible to help those businesses stay
in business; businesses which pay commercial taxes and help bring in the much
needed tax revenue to our oo~munity. Again, I would like to thank the City
Council and their efforts to keep a local business man in business and
generating tax revenue and jobs in Ramsey."

Steve DeLuca stated that he also has a letter from Mr. Ver-n Wentura, 15001
H~natite, to the City Council, which he would like to read at this time. "Frc~
a concerned resident, after being a resident for eight years in Ramsey, I have
noticed the changes in City goverr~ent from concerned representatives to
overstaffed City government, who are using the City Hall and eguil~nent for
further betterment of th~nselves. ~he appearance is of the tail wagging the
dog and I must say the tail is doing quite a job at the expense of the
taxpayers. You have a city manager working with the staff to inplant their
ideas at the expense of the taxpayers. I have observed prolonged meetings
between people who want changes for th~nselves and others for their betterment
August 13, 1985
