PROCEEDINGS OF CITY (ImNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY FJBLIC HEARING ANGKA OOUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The R~sey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, Septerber 10, 1985 at the Ramsey Municipal Genter, 15153 No, then Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding vacation of Old. C.S.A.H. #5 in front of Lord of Life Lutheran fhurch. Me~ber s Present: Mayor Gary Hei~an Councilme~ber AL Sorteberg Councilme~ber Arnie Gox Councilme,ber Gary Beimann Councilme~ber Jean Schlueter Also Present: City Ad~inistrator Lloyd Schrmlle City Assessor Lester Wirz City Planner Anne Norris City Attorney Willi~ Goodrich City Raatikka Peter Raatikka Reporter Angela Flint C,~T,T, ~ (:)R,D~ Mayor Hei~an called the public hearing to order at 7:42 p.m. Mr. Douglas Fountain- 15255 Garnet Street- Mr. Fountain stated that once the property is vacated, Lord of Life and an adjoining property will divide the property. Request Gouncil approwe this vacation as it will result in the Church being able to maintain a visible site fr(~ N~then Blvd. Gouncilme~ber (bx irguired if Mr. Fountain is speaking on behalf of the Church. Mr. Fountain replied that he was not designated by the Church to speak to this matter; he is speaking as a private citizen and ~ber of the Church. Motion by Gouncilme~ber Gox and seconded by Councilme~ber Sorteberg to adjourn the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Bei~an, Councilme~bers Sorteberg, (Dx, Reimann and Schlueter.
