Minnesota Pollution Control ency <br /> <br />RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED /,-'" / ' <br /> <br />Apri 1 26, <br /> 1985 <br /> <br />Mr. Ramon Burton <br />Waltek, Incorporated <br />14310 Sunfish Lake Boulevard <br />Anoka, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Burton: ' <br /> <br />RE:State Hazardous Waste Inspection, Notice of Violation <br /> Waltek, Incorporated <br /> Anoka, No EPA Number, Complaint Investigation, Non-Notifier, Generator <br /> <br />The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is carrying out the provisions of <br />the Minnesota Hazardous Waste Rules (Chapter 7045). In this effort, personnel <br />of the MPCA are conducting inspections of companies in Minnesota that are <br />engaged in the generation, transportation, storage, treatment, or disposal of <br />hazardous waste. <br /> <br />Enclosed and hereby served upon you by Certified U.S. Mail is a Notice of <br />Violation (NOV) that has been issued to Waltek, Incorporated for failure to <br />comply with several provisions of Minnesota rules. <br /> <br />This letter and enclosed NOV identify the violations noted during the MPCA staff <br />inspection of March 29, 1985. In addition, this letter serves to advise you of <br />the potential for serious environmental damage due to the number and magnitude <br />of the violations. The MPCA staff intends to initiate further enforcement <br />action through a stipulation agreement which will include monetary penalties and <br />requirements to correct these violations and also to investigate possible soil <br />and ground water contamination. <br /> <br />During the MPCA staff inspection, you indicated the company generates the <br />following wastes: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> Phor~e: __ <br />1935 W,:.;-",t Count,/ Road B2.
