In the evet~t <br />of a spill, floor-dry would be applied to any non-volatilized freon. <br />Shovels and empty barrels are available in the immediate area for <br />repacking in the event some of ~e solid sludge in the bottom also <br />spills. ~e warehouse is also highly ventilated to preclude vapor <br />acc~ulation, and the freon is not stored near any i~ediatc heat <br />source. <br /> <br />Acid waste is minimal (to~l acc~ulation is less than one 30 gallon <br />drum). It is generated as a by-pr~uct of a small part of our business: <br />cleaning of aluminum parts. The acid is also s tore~ in the warehouse, <br />and in the event of the barrel being spilled, a solution of dilute <br />caustic soda and water would be applied to neut)-~l~ ~o ;~ ~"~ ~ ~--- <br />would ~en be applied. <br /> <br />The soqium hydroxide waste is currently stored <br /> <br />oncy i~; .'3xtremely hard, cement-like and is -]m-:~t ~ :~'.-.:'.::~:. - '.':. ~3~. .... <br /> <br />from the barrels, short of splitting the barrel ,-,F..-~ '.,~" ' ~-9:-'.-.: .... ,:--'-. <br /> <br />As such, a spill seems extremely unlikely.
