Councilmember Reimann stated that it is important to have these <br />types of questions answered before hiring persons. <br /> <br />Mayor Garnet stated that Councim~mber Reimann might be inviting more problems <br />by trying to side step the police employment oontract. <br /> <br />Chief Auspos left Council chambers to get a oouy of the police contract and <br />Council ceased discussion on this issue until Mr. Auspos returned. <br /> <br />Refer to Page 7 of these minutes for balance of this case discussion. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Introduction_ Of_Ordinance_~To. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #84-254). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />~ Re~uest ~b_Ex_tend _Muni~ipal. Ser~vices~'__Cas~_Of Ramse_v_C~nter <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated that the City Attorney has rendered petition received on <br />December 11, 1984 as adequate. <br /> <br />Council unanimously consented to dispense with the reading of the resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~mber Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution t84-255 declaring adequacy of petition and ordering <br />preparation of report for the extension of municipal services to Food and Fuel <br />and other properties in the area, contingent upon the applicant's payment of <br />an escrow deposit to cover the feasibility costs. (Please refer to resolution <br />file for Resolution ~84-255). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner.
