At~_F~L!~LEN~[ <br /> A. Subsection 2.03.01 Establishment, <br /> Subdivision 1. Boards and Commissions <br /> of the City Code is amended by the addi- <br /> tion of a new Board to be known as the <br /> Board of Appeals and <br /> Adju,~tments/Official Maps, <br /> B. Section 2.03.06 of the City Code is <br /> amended by the addition of a new <br /> Subdivision 7. entitled "Board of Appeals <br /> and Adjustments/Official Maps" which <br /> new Subdivision 7. shall provide as fol- <br /> lows: <br /> Subd. 7. Board of Appeals and <br /> Adjustments/Official Maps. <br /> a. Objective. The primary objective <br /> of the Board of Appeals and Adjustments/ <br /> Official Maps is to consider appeals by <br /> owners of land who have been denied a <br /> land use permit, zoning permit, approval <br /> for a building on land or any other City <br /> action taken pursuant to City Code <br /> Section 9.20.32 entitled "Official Map" <br /> which may affect the landowner's land. <br /> The appeal procedures shall be pursuant <br /> to Minn. Stat. 462.359 and City Code <br /> Section 9.20.32. <br /> b. Membership and Term of Office. <br /> Notwithstanding Subsection 2.03.02, <br /> Subd. 3. there shall be five (5) members <br /> of the Board of Appeal~ and Adjustments/ <br /> Official Maps who shall be appointed by <br /> the City's Mayor for staggered four year <br /> terms. At least one of the members shall <br /> be a current member of the Planning <br /> Commission. All other terms of Section <br /> 2.03 shall be applicable Lo the Board of <br /> Appeals and Adjustments/Official Maps. <br /> SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DAT~. <br /> This Ordinance becomes effective <br /> upon its passage and thirty (30) days <br /> after its publication according to law, <br /> subiect to City Charter Provision, Section <br /> 5.04. <br /> PASSED by the City Council of the <br /> <br />· City of Ramsey, Minnesota, Ihe 13th day <br /> of July, 2004. <br /> Thomas G.
