PRINTER'S AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION ORDINANCE NO, 04-30 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 2 OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE WHICH CHAP- TER IS KNOWN AS THE "COUNCIL, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS" CHAP- TER OF THE CITY CODE. AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE CITY CODE "BOARD OF APPEALS AND ADJUSTMENTS/OFFICIAL MAPS" AS A LISTED BOARD UNDER SECTION 2.03 OF THE CITY CODE BY AMENDING SUBSEC- TION 2.03.01 AND ADDING SUBDIVI- SION 7 TO SUBSECTION 2,03.06, WHICH SUBDIVISION SHALL BE ENTI- TLED "BOARD OF APPEALS AND ADJUST- MENTS/OFFICIAL MAPS." The City of Ramsey Ordains: SECTION 1. At~_F~L!~LEN~[ A. Subsection 2.03.01 Establishment, Subdivision 1. Boards and Commissions of the City Code is amended by the addi- tion of a new Board to be known as the Board of Appeals and Adju,~tments/Official Maps, B. Section 2.03.06 of the City Code is amended by the addition of a new Subdivision 7. entitled "Board of Appeals and Adjustments/Official Maps" which new Subdivision 7. shall provide as fol- lows: Subd. 7. Board of Appeals and Adjustments/Official Maps. a. Objective. The primary objective of the Board of Appeals and Adjustments/ Official Maps is to consider appeals by owners of land who have been denied a land use permit, zoning permit, approval for a building on land or any other City action taken pursuant to City Code Section 9.20.32 entitled "Official Map" which may affect the landowner's land. The appeal procedures shall be pursuant to Minn. Stat. 462.359 and City Code Section 9.20.32. b. Membership and Term of Office. Notwithstanding Subsection 2.03.02, Subd. 3. there shall be five (5) members of the Board of Appeal~ and Adjustments/ Official Maps who shall be appointed by the City's Mayor for staggered four year terms. At least one of the members shall be a current member of the Planning Commission. All other terms of Section 2.03 shall be applicable Lo the Board of Appeals and Adjustments/Official Maps. SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DAT~. This Ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after its publication according to law, subiect to City Charter Provision, Section 5.04.
