I have been <br />employed in Co.unity Education since the fall df 1979. During that <br />time participation in our progr~ has increased by 50 percent. There <br />are now over 1800 people involved in our ~rograms each quarter. I <br />feel that this is a result of our close team effort which has the <br />positive effect of offering our co.unity a bigger and better Co.unity <br />Education program. I believe that a joint effort ~f all those involved <br />in a program is very important. <br /> <br />I have enclosed my present job description. In addition to these <br />responsibilities, I have also been active in this community. I like <br />working with the public and feel that one of my strengths is in public <br />relations. I also have strong organizational skills and have been <br />instrumental in organizing our program more efficiently and in developing <br />time saving instruments for the entire school district. My supervisory <br />experience includes hiring and supervision of all evening instructors <br />and swim coordinator. I am also the Chief Examiner in this area for <br />the GED test. <br /> <br />I attended BemidJi State University when my youngest child entered <br />Kindergarten and hold a BS degree in Community Service with a minor in <br />Psychology. I have concentrations in Early Childhood and Child Development <br />and Retardation. <br /> <br />The reason I am leaving my present position, which I enjoy, is that I <br />will be relocating to the Minneapolis area. I would like to stay in the <br />Community Education field because I like it and I am good at this type <br />of work. My hobbies include running (I run about 30 miles per week), <br />skiing, biking, reading, rollerskating, and photography. <br /> <br />I am looking forward to hearing from you.
