ORDINANCE J83-13 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ANKNDNKNT TO CHAPTER 170. known as the Planning, Subdivision and <br />Signs Chapter of Chapter 170. of the City Code- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 170.06 to the City Code and repealing <br />Section 170.038F of the City Code. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Rausey hereby ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. ANENDNEBT. <br /> <br />A Chapter 170.06 is hereby added to the City Code, which Chapter shall be as <br />follows: <br /> <br />170.06 Park and Open Space Dedication Fee <br /> <br />170.061 PURPOSE <br /> <br />The purposes of this section are to provide funds which the City shall <br />dedicate and use only for the acquisition of parks, playgrounds, and/or <br />open space, as well as provide a means for the City to acquire a <br />reasonable portion of each new subdivision for public use as parks, <br />playgrounds and/or open space. <br /> <br />170.062 IKSZDKBTIAL IUILDING PEa#IT PARK FEE <br /> <br />At the time of issuance of a building permit for a residential dwelling <br />unit, either single family, multi-family or apartment building, the <br />Building Official shall collect a park fee equal to two and one-half <br />tenths of one per cent (.0025) of the building valuation. This park <br />fee shall be collected from the building permit applicant as a <br />condition of the issuance of the building permit. <br /> <br />170.063 CONNERCIAL/I~DUSTRIAL BUILDING PERMIT PAR~ FEE <br /> <br />At the time of issuance of a building permit for a commercial or <br />industrial building, the Building Official shall collect a park fee <br />equal to one tenth of one percent (.0010) of the building valuation. <br /> This park fee shall be collected from the building permit applicant as <br />a condition of the issuance of the building permit. <br /> <br />170-064 ALTERNATE DEDICATION OF PARKS AND OPEN SPACES <br /> <br />Notwithstanding Sections 170.062 and 170.063 above, the City Council, <br />in its discretion may elect in all new subdivisions to require eight <br /> <br /> <br />
