Discussion ~eaard~no Rural l~ident~al Dens,tv l~olicv: Motion by O~rmissioner De.er and seconded by Commissioner Bendriksen, for further discussion, to recomme~ that City Council adopt a resolution to establishing a policy for .implementing the rural residential density s~rd as stated in Ramsey's Comprehensive Plan. Further Discussion: Commissioner Bendriksen amended the motion to include ~at should there ever be a time where the City has totally exhausted it's undeveloped area as credit towards developing area, an amended Comprehensive Plan will be necessary. Commissioner Deemer seconded the amendment to the motion. Motion carried. Voting Yes: ~airman Peterson, C(m~issioners LaDue, De~er, Bendriksen and Kennen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Johnson and Chairman Peterson stated that Commissioner Kennen will be resigning from the Planning and Zoning Commission and thanked Commissioner Kennen for his service and contributions to the Comntission. Motion by Commissioner Dee~er and seconded by Commissioner LaDue requesting that City Staff advertise the vacancy on the Planning Oommission and notify past applicants for the Planning Commission of the upcoming vacancy. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners LaDue, De~er, Bendriksen and Kennen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Johnson and ~.i~me rman. ~e 0o~mission discussed the fact that the Charter requires all board and cor~dssion vacancies being published in the City Newsletter; the next issue of the City Newsletter is May, 1985 and applicant interviews would have to be conducted at the June, 1985 Planning and Zoning meeting. Commissioner Kennen stated that he would be willing to delay submitting a formal written resignation until a replacement has been recommended for appointment.
