City Sanitary Sewer Policy <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that Councilmember Cox has suggested that the City's <br />policy regarding sanitary sewer be published in the City newsletter. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to direct City Staff to prepare a written Sanitary Sewer <br />Policy and that said policy be reviewed by City Council prior to publication <br />in the City newsletter. <br /> <br />b. City Cemetaries - <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that Councilmember Cox, pursuant to resident concern, <br />would like the subject of City cemetaries brought to Council for discussion. <br /> <br />Council consensus is that the subject of City cemetaries was brought up for <br />discussion and Councilmember COx was not present to address the issue. <br /> <br />Approval Of City Attorney's lge~uest To Bill IReaular P~ur~5, Ratem T~ <br />lml ican~ And Develo~ars: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmauber Sorteberg and seoonded by Mayor l~eitman ~o approve of <br />the City Attorney billing applicants and developers at his regular office <br />billing fee of $85.00 per hour based on the r~r~lation received from the <br />Personnel Con~i tree. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor l~eitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg and <br />Schlueter. Votin9 No: None. Absent: Councilmem~ers Reimann and Cox. <br /> <br />B. Police labor Neootiations: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg stated that the police requested a 5% increase in base <br />pay, a $15 increase in health insurance and one more holiday; the Personnel <br />Oc~muittee reoor~uended a 3% increase in oost of living (or base pay), no <br />increase in health insurance and no holiday; the police counter .offer was a 5% <br />increase in base pay, $15 increase in health insurance and no holiday. <br />Councilmember Sorteberg stated that most of the officers are getting a 2% <br />longevity increase this year and that is the reason for the Personnel <br />Gon~nittee recc~ing a 3%, rather than a 5%, increase in base pay. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to refer this issue back to the Personnel Committee for a <br />counter proposal review. <br /> <br />~a.~e t1: [~avor/r'nuncil Inmt (Cnntinuedl} <br /> <br />March 7, 1985 <br />Page 8 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
