Councilmember COx stated that he feels it is <br />incumbent for this Council to review the very irregular high salary <br />increases, which are far beyond the 4% indicated in newspaper <br />articles; it's a situation of goverr~ent perpetuating inflation at <br />the expense of society and it's not prudent to allc~ this to <br />continue. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
