Proposed Policy_ On Use Of Cit_v Vehicles - Motion by Councilm~nber Reimann and seconded by Mayor Hei~an to table the follcwing items until 1986 labor negotiation: 1. Proposed policy on use of City vehicles. 2. Proposed policy on reimbursement of costs for meals, transportation and parking while on official City business. Further, to delete the following as an agenda item to be discussed: 3. Staff salaries for 1985. Further Discussion: Councilm~mber Reimann stated that these items have been repeatedly referred back to the Personnel (lmmittee and he would like to clear the slate and make a fresh start with 1986 negotiations. Councilmember COx stated that he feels it is incumbent for this Council to review the very irregular high salary increases, which are far beyond the 4% indicated in newspaper articles; it's a situation of goverr~ent perpetuating inflation at the expense of society and it's not prudent to allc~ this to continue.
