Setting Public Hearing Dates On _Special Assessment Projects - <br /> <br /><buncil noted that a resolution for setting public hearing dates <br />for River's Bend, Oxbow Addition, Flintwood Hills Second Addition <br />and Ramsey Terraoe will be p[esented to Council for adoption on <br />August 27. <br /> <br />D. Central Park Lighting Study_- <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Oon~nission (]~airman Dennis Donovan was present <br />and stated that City Engineer Raatikka engaged 3 firms to do a <br />lighting study; it is the recon~nendation of the Park Board to go <br />with the Musco lighting plan which includes wood light poles. <br /> <br />Councilm~nber Cox suggested that some consideration be given to <br />utilizing cement poles. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~{nber COx and seconded by Councilm~nber Reimann <br />to adopt Resolution ~85-138 ordering plans and specifications for <br />lighting Central Park. (Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution ~85-138). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilm~nbers Cox, <br />Sorteberg, Reimann and $chlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Dennis Donovan stated that he has heard many favorable oon]nents <br />regarding Central Park and he will call Councilm~nber Cox regarding <br />cement light poles and Councilmenber Cox's comments in past minutes <br />regarding the Park Board not being up to speed. <br /> <br />E. Failed On-Site Se_ptic System: Case Of MS, ~arol Brya]3t - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~nber Schlueter and seconded by Gouncilm~nber Gox <br />to approve of Ms. Carol Bryant's appeal to the Director of <br />Technical Servioes' directive dated February 14, 1985 which will <br />allow her to continue using the on-site septic system as it is <br />until such time as other probl~ns arise, and further, that any <br />future problems will require in~nediate installation of an on-site <br />sysstem in oompliance with the present oode. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
