Commissioner Brauer requested information regarding the placement of Coborn's underbn-ound <br />fuel tank based on its proximity to Well No. 6. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that the Engineering Department had received <br />some preliminary recommendations from Bolton & i'vlenk for minimum conditions, as follows: <br /> <br /> l. Double walled storage ranks with corrosion protection: <br /> 2. Spill protection to catch spills that may occur dunng de!ivery of'products; <br /> 3. Overtill protection including automatic shutoff devices,, overfill alarms and ball fi'Oat <br /> valves: - ':': <br /> 4. Leak detection, inctudint interstitial monitorina'ofthe double waI1ed tank: <br /> 5. Product release monitonnz._, includin~ installation of ~oundwater morutonn~' ' 'Z welJl's <br /> and monthly monitonna of these wells: -- <br /> 6. Developmen~ Director Frolik stated that wh4n. we ~,~,~t to final site plan <br />review/'approva~, the reqmremen~s ~egarding the under~ound fuel tank will be rewewed at that <br />time fbr coafocmJ!y. . <br /> <br />Greg Voss, Shingobee Builders. stated it may make sense to move Well i'4'o. 6 further north of <br />the sim and they will work with City Staff on this issue': <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson. seconded by Chairperson Nix~, to recommend that the Ci~ <br />Council approve the prelimina~ site pt'an for the Coborn's ~oce~' store in the l~amsev Town <br />Center, contingent upon the developer apptying for a variance to the floor area ratio requirement; <br />and contingent upon the developer eliminating the Zeolite Street egTesS; and contingent upon the <br />developer providing a right in]right out access-on Sunwood Drive; and contingent, upon the <br />developer submitting a revised Landscape PI.an for review by City, Staff that may also be phased; <br />and contingent upon the developer satisfying ali City requirements with respect to the <br />under;~round f~et rank. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
