Police Chief Way presented officers Ben Rossum, Tim Frankfurth, Brad Bluml and Tom Lueck <br />with commendations and medals for their actions. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated he is very proud of the officers and the way they handled the situation. <br />Several officers could have been hurt, but they maintained their training and expertise, and were <br />able to apprehend this person. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman commented this situation happened in his neighborhood. The <br />officers did a very good job above and beyond their normal duties.
