A non-conforming use may be continued, but ray not be extended, <br />expanded, or changed unless to a conforming use, except as <br />permitted by the Board of Adjustment in accordance with the <br />provisions of this chapter. <br /> <br />In the event that any non-conforming use, conducted in a <br />structure or otherwise, ceases for whatever reason for a <br />consecutive 12 month period, or is abandoned for any period, such <br />non-conforming use shall not be resumed. <br /> <br />Normal waintenance of a non-conforming structure is acceptable, <br />including non-structural repairs and incidental maintenanoe. <br /> <br />HOME OCCUPATIONS <br /> <br />A home occupation shall be permitted as an accessory use if it <br />complies with the requir~ents of this section. <br /> <br />The home occupation shall be carried on by a resident of the <br />dwelling unit. <br /> <br />The howe occupation shall be carried on wholly within the <br />principal structure unless specifically authorized by the <br />conditional use permit granted by this chauter. <br /> <br />Exterior displays or signs other than those permitted by the <br />City's sign ordinance, exterior storage of materials, and <br />exterior indication of the home occupation or variation from the <br />residential character of the principal structure shall not be <br />permitted. <br /> <br />Home occupations require a conditional use permit from the City. <br />The application process for such permit is identified in Section <br /> of this chapter. <br /> <br />Manufactured houses may be located within residential zoning <br />districts within the City upon compliance with the following <br />conditions and upon compliance with all other conditions of the <br />City Code except those City Code conditions which may be at <br />variance with the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. Manufactured houses shall comply with all zoning <br />regulations for the zone in which they are located. <br /> <br /> 2. A building permit and any other required permits shall <br />be obtained for such manufactured housing. <br /> <br />E-5 <br /> <br /> <br />
