A non-conforming use may be continued, but ray not be extended, expanded, or changed unless to a conforming use, except as permitted by the Board of Adjustment in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. In the event that any non-conforming use, conducted in a structure or otherwise, ceases for whatever reason for a consecutive 12 month period, or is abandoned for any period, such non-conforming use shall not be resumed. Normal waintenance of a non-conforming structure is acceptable, including non-structural repairs and incidental maintenanoe. HOME OCCUPATIONS A home occupation shall be permitted as an accessory use if it complies with the requir~ents of this section. The home occupation shall be carried on by a resident of the dwelling unit. The howe occupation shall be carried on wholly within the principal structure unless specifically authorized by the conditional use permit granted by this chauter. Exterior displays or signs other than those permitted by the City's sign ordinance, exterior storage of materials, and exterior indication of the home occupation or variation from the residential character of the principal structure shall not be permitted. Home occupations require a conditional use permit from the City. The application process for such permit is identified in Section of this chapter. Manufactured houses may be located within residential zoning districts within the City upon compliance with the following conditions and upon compliance with all other conditions of the City Code except those City Code conditions which may be at variance with the following conditions: 1. Manufactured houses shall comply with all zoning regulations for the zone in which they are located. 2. A building permit and any other required permits shall be obtained for such manufactured housing. E-5
