e <br /> <br />on Hazardous Wastes as adopted June 18, 1979 and <br />contained in 6MCAR Minnesota (3)de of Agency Rules, <br />Paragraphs 4.9001 - 4.9010. The City Engineer shall <br />prescribe the manner of sewage treatment and disposal <br />in the case of large volupe water useage. Sections <br /> of the City Gode shall also regulate <br />wastes with the exception that there r~cds to a conti- <br />guous area for the installation of three soil absorption <br />syst~TS based on water useage. <br />Off-street parking <br />a. Design and Construction: <br /> Off-street parking areas shall be so designed that <br /> vehicles may be parked in an oonvenient and orderly <br /> fashion. Parking areas shall be surfaced and main- <br /> tained with a hard, all-weather, durable, dust-free <br /> surfacing material, shall be properly drained, and <br /> shall be maintained in a sightly and well-kept oon- <br /> dition. Each parking space shall be clearly outlined <br /> or other marked and shall have a minimu~ width of <br /> nine feet and length of twenty feet exclusive of <br /> aisles and maneuvering space. Clear aisle widths <br /> shall be at least twelve feet for forty-five degree <br /> angle parking. Any lighting used to illupinate off- <br /> street parking areas shall be so arranged as to de- <br /> flect the light away frc~ adjacent properties and <br /> raodways. <br />b. Location: <br />The parking area may abut the property line if the ad- <br />joining property is zoned business or industrial. <br />Parking areas adjoining other districts shall be <br />located closer than 25 feet to the side or rear <br />property line. Truck traffic shall be routed around <br />and not through the autc{pobile parking areas. <br />Loading: <br />An off-street loading facility shall be provided with <br />an area ~f not less than twelve feet in width and sixty- <br />feet on length, exclusive of aisles and maneuvering space. <br />Such facility shall be at the rear of the principal struc- <br />ture and shall be used exclusively for the loading and un- <br />loading of ~erchandise. Ail such facilities, aisles and <br />maneuvering space shall be surfaced in the same manner as <br />that prescribed for parking areas. <br />(3c~pliance: In order to assure oo~pliance with the <br />performance standa_____rds set forth above, the City <br />Oouncil may require the owner or operator of any <br />permitted use to make such investigations and tests <br />as may be required to show adherence to above per- <br />formance standards. Such investigation and tests as <br />are required to be made shall be carried out by an <br />independent testing organization as may be agreed upon <br />by the City and the owner or operator, or if there is <br />failure to agree within ten days after written notice <br />by the City to the owner or operator to make such investi- <br />gation and tests, by such independent testing organiza- <br /> <br />K - 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
