Add 300 degree days of temporary <br /> heat for concrete and masonary <br /> construction at a unit price of <br /> $10.00/degree day which covers <br /> labor, materials and fuel to heat <br /> the work area. <br /> <br />$0.00 $3,000.00 <br /> <br />Totals: <br /> <br />$0.00 $3,350.00 <br /> <br />Net Change in Contract Price: <br /> <br />$3,350.00 <br /> <br />Justification and Description of Work: <br /> <br />The first three items were required by the Minnesota Department of <br />Health as part of their plan approval (see attached MDH <br />recommendations). <br /> <br />Item No. 4, temporary heat, was needed to complete the required con- <br />struction to have the pumphouse operable by February 15, 1985. The <br />development of the well required more time than estimated and caused a <br />delay to the pumphouse contractor. Also, the initial operable comple- <br />tion date was May 1, 1985. Therefore, temporary heat was not included <br />in the initial bid. <br /> <br /> <br />
