PROCEEDINGS (F CITY OOUNCIL <br /> FdBLI C HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANCKA OGUNTY <br />~ S~I~TE ~F MINNESO~ <br /> <br />A public hearing was held regarding the City's Lon9 Term Financial Plan on <br />Tuesday, December 11, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Councilm~r Jean Schlueter <br />Councilm~r A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />City Planner Anne Norris <br />City Accountant Jeanne Haapala <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />Members Absent: Oouncilmember Sue Van Wagner <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:10 ~m. <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />MAYOR/CCr3NCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that Council should have more time to review the Long Term <br />Plan and suggested that this evening's Council meeting be continued on <br />December 18, 1984 for the purpose of further discussion and adoption of the <br />Long Term Plan. Mayor Gamec added that citizens can submit written input <br />regarding the plan at City Hall prior to December 18, 1984. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann inquired as to how Ms. ]~aapala projected the amounts <br />over a 5 year period. <br /> <br />Ms. Haapala replied that with expenditures she projected, on the average, a 5% <br />increase per year; property tax is a balancing account; revenue projections <br />depended on the source. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann inquired about figures in assessing and administrative <br />sections. <br /> <br />Ms. Haapala replied that there are no changes projected for number of <br />personnel in assessing, but there are changes projected for the administrative <br /> <br />PAGE 1 OF 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
