Following is a
list of items or regulations which must be resolved prior to issuing a
mining permit for the proposed site:

The proposed site is on the Anoka County Landfill Inventory List
as Site P. State statutes prohibits all development including
mining on a landfill inventory site. To lift this limitation,
both the Metropolitan Council and Anoka County must agree to do
so. Mr. ~utchinson will be sending me a letter to confirm the
limits of the state statutes.

The proposed mining area is located between City Shot, lands 113
and 117. All grading should be sloped away from those
shot,lands.

The ultimate use of the land should be determined and a land-
scaping and a turf reestablishment plan should be provided.

Based on the grading plan dated October 18, 1984 a mandatory
Environmental Assessment Worksheet is required since the mean
depth of the mining is over ten feet.

civil · municOnfl · planning · ~oils · land mn, eying
