City Administrator <br /> <br />Buildin9 Official <br /> <br />~onthly/Annual Report <br /> <br />January 3, 1985 <br /> <br />~here were two new housing starts in December which gives us a total of 60 <br />houses for the year. There were 75 housing starts in 1983 so the downward <br />housing trend that occurred nationwide also occurred in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Ail the utility work in River's Ber~ is basically complete and good progress is <br />being made on the interceptor coming up from Anoka. At this time there doesn't <br />appear to be any problems with beginning service in mid-February as anticipated. <br /> <br />~he tank support and floor have been completed in the pump house and the roof <br />will be installed as soon as the tank is installed. <br /> <br />A oomplaint of a large wood pile on 153rd Lane NW west of County Road #57 was <br />investigated and the property owner and the ~ner of the wood have agreed that <br />it will be removed by March 1, 1985. <br /> <br />Mr. Albin Peterson, owner of the property where M.S.A.S. 149th Avenue NW is to <br />be constructed, has agreed to terms for the acquisition of' the right-of-way. <br />~he oonstruction of the storm drain and street will take place in the spring of <br />1985. <br /> <br />Ail the information for the proposed street improvement project in Ramsey <br />Terrace and the proposed storm drain improvements in District t43 have been pre- <br />pared. ~e resolution will be published in the next newsletter and the public <br />hearings have been scheduled for Tuesday, January 29, 1985. <br /> <br />~e Malibu continued to function well and now has 48,000 miles of which 11,245 <br />were put on in 1984. <br /> <br />Permits issued, mileage and inspections are as follows (see attached). <br /> <br />CRB:pjc <br /> <br /> <br />
