Members Present: Mr. Don Greenberg, Chairman Mr. Steve Schmidt Mr. Glen Bardin Mr. Ken Wagner Mr. Bob Muller Mr. Bill Miller Mr. Darryl Fults Mr. Bernie Vevea Mr. Arnie Cox Also Present: City Planner Anne Norris Chairman Greenberg called to the meetin9 to order at 7:45 a.m. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion by Co~missioner Fults and seconded by C(m~issioner Miller to approve the agenda as submitted. ~PPROVAL O~ ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES Motion by Commissioner Cox and seconded by Commissioner Vevea to approve regular Economic Development Co~mission meeting minutes dated November 14, 1984 with the following ~orrection: Page 2 - 8th Paragral~h - Delete paragral~h and replace with the following: 'Go, missioner Cox brought up the subject of referend~ bond issues and the fact that people are informed as to what the bond issue will cost residents - $1.76/month, for example. What the people are not told is that the same bond issue would be costing the business ~wner $500/year. Many business ~wners do not even have a chance for input on refernd~ bond issues because they don't reside in that con, unity; yet they are paying most of the freight on bond issues passed. Minnesota referend~m~ laws should be designed to be representative of the truth in referendt~ issues.' Motion carried.
