I I I I I I I I I I I I I i I I I i Counci lmembe r adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION #85- RESf~J3TION AU~ORIZING T~E TRANSFER fF OOMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS W~EREAS, Title 1 of the Rousing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, provides for a program of Community DeveloI=,ent Block Grants; WHEREAS, the Township of Linwood and City of Ramsey have joined eighteen (18) other municipalities in order to qualify Anoka County as an Urban WHEREAS, this designation has entitled the City of Ramsey and 9k)wnsbip of Linwood to receive Community Development Block Grant funds for 1984 through 1986; and WHEREAS, the City of Bamsey has uncommitted funds from its 1984 Community Development BLock Grant allocation; and WHEREAS, the Township of Linwood is in the process of completing a road oonstruction project. Nf~ T~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY T~E CITY OOUNCIL OF ~HE CIT~ OF RAMSEY, ANOKA OGUNTY, S~TE OF MINNESO~, as follows: 1) To t(m~porarily assign $5,500 of its uncommitted 1984 Community Development Block Grant funds to the Township of Linwood for aid in the completing of a road construction project. 2) ~at the Township of Linwood will reciprocate by designating a like amount of Community Development Block Grant funds to the City of Ramsey for funding year 1985. 3) That the exchange of Community Development Block Grant funds shall be processed through the Anoka County Community Development office. ~he motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilme~9~er and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof'.' and the following voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of January, 1985.
