I I I I I I I I I I I I I Counci lmembe r adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its I:~S~TION 185- RESOLUTION AU~ORIZING ~51E ~RANSFER (~F (/~MM~NITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS WHEREAS, Title 1 of the ~ousing and Community Develoixnent Act of 1974, as amended, provides for a program of Con, unity Develot~ent Block Grants; and WHEREAS, the Township of Burns and City of Ramsey have joined eighteen (18) other municipalities in order to qualify Anoka County as an Urban WHEREAS, this designation has entitled the City of Ramsey and Township of Burns to receive Co~nunity Develof~ent Block Grant funds for 1984 through 1986; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has uncommitted funds from its 1984 Community Development Block Grant allocation; and WHEREAS, the Township of Burns has submitted application to make their town hall accessible to the handicapped. NC~ ~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVfD BY ~ME CITY COUNCIL OF ~E CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, S~I~TE OF MINNES091~, as follows: 1) To authorize permanent transfer of $8,000 of its uncon~nitted 1984 ~unity Develounent Block Grant funds to the Township of Burns for aid in their attempt to make Burns T~wn Ball accessible to the handicapped. 2) That the transfer of Community Development Block Grant funds shall be processed through the Anoka County Con~nunity Development office. ~he motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilnmmt~r and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of February, 1985.
