PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br />PERSONNEL COM MrrTEE <br />crrY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A Personnel Committee meeting was held on Thursday, January 24, 1985 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. NW, Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> Councilmember Gary Reimann <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />Director Technical Services Clayton Berg <br />Public Works Superintendent Merle' Mevissen <br />City Accountant Jeanne Haapala <br />City Assessor Lester Wirz <br />Chief of Police Mike Auspos <br />Deputy Clerk Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:43 a.m. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case ~1: Police Wage Negotiations fo~ 1985: <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle explained to the Personnel Committee what the <br />procedure is for negotiating with the police bargaining unit all the way through <br />binding arbitration. <br /> <br />No action was taken. <br /> <br />Case #Z: Review of Non-Union Cit~ Employee S~1~/Increases fo~ 1985 and Compen-. <br /> sato~ Time Policy: <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle went through the agenda enclosures for this case <br />and told the Personnel Committee that their action should be in accordance with <br />the Council's direction at their meeting of December 18, 1984. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann asked Staffmembers if they had anything to say. There <br />was no input from Staff, so Councilmember Reimann said that they should all <br />leave and go back to work. He further stated that he and Mr. Sorteberg had enough <br />information to make a decision. <br />At this time Councilmember Reimann asked to close the meeting.
