Retirement for all employees is handled under the State-sponsored Public Employees Retire- ment Association (PERA) and Teachers Retirement Association (TRA). The District is required to contribute toward the PERA plan only and is current in meeting this obligation, o The Anoka-Hennepin Technical Educational Center opened in 1967 as the first metro-suburban vocational school in the area. The Technical Education Center is part of Anoka-Hennepin School District but it is operated independently and has its own financial statements. Another educational facility located within the District is the Anoka- Ramsey Community College. Opened in the fall of 1967, the College currently has an enrollment of approximately 4,300 full and part-time students. Nine buildings situated on 85 acres overlooking the Missis- sippi River comprise the current College and represent an estimated total capital investment of $6.6 million. The most recent campus expansion was the $960,000 Theater Building opened in 1976. HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES Within the City, professional medical services are furnished by a medical clinic-pharmacy and a dental clinic. MN220.85a/38 16
