ORDINANCES: Item Al Introduction. of an Ordinance to Vacate Unnecessary EaSements in the Plat of River's Bendl At the regular Council meeting of February 26, 1985, the City Council was advised of the need to not only acquire additional easements but also to vacate some easements. The acquisition of additional easemen, ts was accomplished by adoptio~ of a resolution. However, Section 12.06 of the City Charter requires that vacation of public property be accomplished by ordinance. Enclosure (D~-i) contains the following information for your considerat ion: a) Proposed ordinance for introduction b) Public hearing notice Council Action: Nc, Council action is required .except to note the introduction of the ordinance. This ordinance will be presented for adoption at your meeting of April 9, 1985. Item B: Adoption of Ordinance #85-1 Governinq the Installation of and Tampering With of Water Meteesl This ordinanCe is an amendment to Chapter 210.01 of the City Code which is known as the "Street Assessment" Chapter. It deals with the installat ion of and tampering with of water meters. It was introduced at the City Council meeting of February 12, 1985 and posted on February 13, 1985.
