I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 885- <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka County is responsible for the timely <br />expenditure of Community DeveloIz~ent Block Grants from the U.S. <br />Department of Housing and Urban Develol~nent; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka County, in a letter dated February 27, 1985, <br />bas requested that communities with outstanding CDBG allocations <br />submit applications for such funds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution ~83-22 on <br />March 22, 1983 designating Ramsey's allocation of Community <br />DeveloD~ent Block Grant funds for use in economic development <br />activities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Economic Development Commission bas <br />prepared a draft of a brochure to promote economic development in <br />the City; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, S~I~TE OF MINNESO~, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. ~hat the City of Ramsey apply for Community Development <br />Block Grant funds to be used to produce the promotional brochure <br />drafted by the Ramsey Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br /> 2. That a copy of this resolution and a preliminary <br />project request form (attached hereto) be forwarded to the Anoka <br />County Administrator. <br /> <br />~he motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seoonded by Councilmenber and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the day of , 1985. <br /> <br />A~EST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />~ity Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
