I I I I I I I I I I I i I I I I I I Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION 885- WHEREAS, Anoka County is responsible for the timely expenditure of Community DeveloIz~ent Block Grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Develol~nent; and WHEREAS, Anoka County, in a letter dated February 27, 1985, bas requested that communities with outstanding CDBG allocations submit applications for such funds; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution ~83-22 on March 22, 1983 designating Ramsey's allocation of Community DeveloD~ent Block Grant funds for use in economic development activities; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Economic Development Commission bas prepared a draft of a brochure to promote economic development in the City; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, S~I~TE OF MINNESO~, as follows: 1. ~hat the City of Ramsey apply for Community Development Block Grant funds to be used to produce the promotional brochure drafted by the Ramsey Economic Development Commission. 2. That a copy of this resolution and a preliminary project request form (attached hereto) be forwarded to the Anoka County Administrator. ~he motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seoonded by Councilmenber and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the day of , 1985.
