The
person to contact is:

Joe Mooney
Engineer, Public Works
Twin Cities Region
Burlington Northern Railroad Co.
P.O. Box 64960
176 East Fifth St.
St. Paul, MI~ 55164

If the railroad is not opposed to the grade crossing, the City of Ramsey
should enter into an agreement with them regarding the various details
including materials, costs and type of warning devices. After the
agreement is executed, a signed copy should be sent to our office for
review so that an Ex Parte Order can be drafted and issued which would
approve the establishment of the grade crossing and appropriate warning
devices.

If the Burlington Northern Railroad Company is opposed to the establishment
of the public grade crossing, the matter will then be scheduled for
public hearing if it is so requested by the City of Ramsey. This
request should be in the form of a resolution or petition to the Commis-
sioner of Transportation (there are no forms for the resolution or
petition).

An Equal Oppor*unt/y Employer
