I I I I~E %9: I I I ! 1 Letter from Anoka County Environmental Services Dated April 2. 1985: Enclosure (D2-p) contains the above letter informing the City of ~amsey of the license renewal process for solid waste facilities. If we have any problems regarding the lioensing of the present sanitary landfill and/or clean fill demolition landfill, we should make it known during the licensing process. Council Action: Your action will be to note that you have received said documents and to take any other action you de~ necessary. Metro Council's Letter dated March 22. 1985 Regarding the Adoption of the Solid Waste Management Development Guide/Policy Plan and Final Statement of Findings and Enclosure (D2-q) contains the subject document for your review and co~nents. It is too bad that they didn't give the host cities more input into this issue. Inasmuch as they have stated that we should seek legislation to solve the host cities' and township's problems, which we have done, we will now seek their full support and endorsement of our proposed legislation. Prudential Property and Casualty Insurance Company'~ Letter Dated March 28. 1985: Enclosure (D2-r) contains the above letter. We have forwarded copies of this letter to our insurance carrier and the City Attorney. Our insurance carrier is o~ming to the City on April 19, 1985 to look at the area. Council Action: Your action on this issue will be to note that you have received the above letter. However, .you may take any other action you deem neoessary at this ~me. ~: ProGedure for Issuance of Burning_ Permits: Enclosure (D2-s) contains a letter dated April 12, 1985 from Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (with enclosed air pollution rules and burning request forms) which informed us that we cannot issue burning permits here at the City. The process will be as follows: a) Citizen will have to come to City ~all and fill out form requesting a burning permit;
