Raatikka, P.E. <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor & City Council <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W. <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Re: <br /> <br />Improvement Projects 84-16 & 85-14 Street Construction <br />Ramsey Terrace & Azurite Street <br /> <br />Dear Council Members: <br /> <br />In accordance with your advertisement for bids on the above referenced <br />projects, three (3) bids were received and opened at 10:00 a.m. on <br />June 21, 1985. <br /> <br />The bids were as follows: <br /> <br />H&S Asphalt Company <br />Buffalo Bituminous <br />Hardrives, Inc. <br /> <br />$80,795.00 <br />$91,840.00 <br />$98,380.50 <br /> <br />The engineer's estimated feasibility cost for the projects was <br />$86,875.00. The total low bid received is approximately seven percent <br />below the engineer's estimate. <br /> <br />The low bidder, H&S Asphalt Company, has satisfactorily completed <br />projects in the area.
